Job descriptionDevelops, maintains and coordinates a monthly program of events and programs Establishes and maintains on-going contacts with community organizations, churches, colleges, universities, cultural organizations and other useful resources for program development. Recruits, plans and manages volunteer opportunities for the community Manages, trains and develops staff and volunteers Makes marketing presentations for community outreach efforts Works with marketing to assist in the planning of community / resident events Coordinates community outings to special events, lectures, for an active resident lifestyle One-to-one activities utilizing interpersonal needs to meet resident / client needs Projects a positive image of the organization in dealing with residents / clients, co-workers and the public
Allbridge Rehab and Nursing Center is now seeking a Social Service and Activity Director for a 43 bed, long-term care facility.
This Dual Role presents a unique opportunity to help and encourage residents to feel engaged and also work as the representative for social interests. Allbridge Rehab and Nursing is a brand new facility, with a small census to really help you engage and make a difference in their lives. As well as work with a small, family like team!
Social Service Director :
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or a human services field including but not limited to sociology, special education, rehabilitation counseling, or psychology.
- Licensure or certification as a social worker in the state of OH
- At least one year of relevant experience
- Experience in Skilled Nursing preferred
Excellent communication skills
