SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES :

As a Staffing Coordinator , you'll be an essential part of the leadership team, working closely with the Director of Nursing (DON) to ensure effective and efficient scheduling of nursing staff. You'll help maintain smooth operations and foster a positive work environment while building strong relationships across all departments.

You'll be a great fit if you have :

  • Prior experience as a Staffing Coordinator or Scheduling Director in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
  • Familiarity with scheduling systems and healthcare staffing procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
  • A high school diploma or equivalent

    • Key Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Maintain daily tardy and absenteeism logs
  • Create and update nursing staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage
  • Collaborate with supervisors and nursing staff to address scheduling needs
  • Assist employees with time-off requests and scheduling inquiries
  • Use phone, email, and text communication to update and confirm schedules
  • Answer employee calls and questions regarding staffing and schedules
