NeueHouse currently operates across three different, but equally iconic, properties in New York City and Los Angeles :
- Our Madison Square (MSQ) House is situated in New York’s iconic Flatiron District, was previously home for Tepper Galleries, a well-known Manhattan auction house for international artists and collectors in the 1930s – and neighbors the 69th Regiment Armory where the first International Exhibition of Modern Art was held.
- Our Hollywood House (HWD) , which sits on Sunset Boulevard, is one of LA’s most celebrated buildings and occupies the original CBS Studio (the world’s first structure built intentionally for broadcast). Here genre- defining artists from Orson Wells and Lucille Ball to Janis Joplin, the Beach Boys, and Bob Dylan built their legacy.
- Our Venice Beach House (VB) was once the creative home to some of the most influential creative luminaries in art and entertainment including Hal Ashby, Oliver Stone, and David Hockney, NeueHouse Venice Beach is a new work, social, and cultural hub for the Venice creative community.
The Role
In collaboration with the Senior Event Sales Manager, the Event Sales Manager will manage prospecting and sales for private events within their individual market segments. Specific emphasis will be placed on developing and maintaining key business relationships with event clients, sponsors & partners.
Proactively prospect new clients through outbound outreach, networking, industry events, and partnerships.Own the full sales cycle for private events, from pitch to close, with a sales goal of $1.5–$2 million annually / $150k per month.Maintain an active pipeline and regularly generate leads through strategic business development.Craft tailored proposals and creative event concepts that align with NeueHouse’s aesthetic and client goals.Conduct venue tours, host tastings and previews, and position the brand as a premium creative event partner.Maintain detailed CRM documentation, sales activity reports, and post-event feedback for continuous improvement.Act as a brand steward, staying current on programming, hospitality trends, and client engagement strategies.Stay agile—ideating new sales approaches and testing innovative ways to grow both new and repeat business.Liaise with clients to select menus, understand needs and coordinate the details of their events.Strong emphasis placed on the communication of event information to relevant parties including, but not limited to, the Chefs, Event Operations Director, General Manager, Head of Security and Tech Manager.Focus on clearly communicating event specs pre-event to events associate to ensure that day-of production is seamless.While not a requirement, experience working in catering sales is seen as a plus.Requirements
3+ years of experience in event sales, private events, or luxury hospitality, with outbound sales focus.Demonstrated success managing a book of business generating $150k / month or more.Deep understanding of B2B and B2C sales strategy, relationship management, and event lifecycle planning.Experience identifying and pursuing new market segments with minimal direction.Excellent presentation, communication, and storytelling skills, both written and verbal.Strong background in prospecting, cold outreach, pipeline management, and closing.Experience using CRM tools such as Salesforce, TripleSeat, or similar platforms.High attention to detail, organizational discipline, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Tech-savvy, with proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and Mac OS.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.Preferred Qualifications
Existing network within entertainment, fashion, agency, or creative industries.Experience with catering sales, cultural partnerships, or nontraditional venue activations.Familiarity with marketing tactics and creative sales campaigns.Must be able to lift and or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and / or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 poundsCollege degree or relative work experience requiredBenefits
