Facility Setting : Emergency Room (ER) / Emergency Department

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Contract

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shifts : 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts / week)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $2050 - $2200

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State

Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required

BLS certification (AHA) – Basic Life Support

Strong clinical communication, conflict resolution, time management, and organizational skills

Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary healthcare team

ER RN Responsibilities

Provide direct patient and family-centered care within the full scope of ER RN practice

Develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate individualized care programs for emergency patients

Collect observation data, plan, implement, and assess patient care in the Emergency Department

Coordinate patient movement and staff assignments as Charge Nurse when required

Receive pre-arrival reports from EMS and coordinate triage for walk-in arrivals

Collaborate with House Supervisor and interdisciplinary healthcare team for patient throughput and bed assignments

Work closely with ward clerks, provider staff, ED techs, RNs, and crisis evaluators

Support mental health evaluations and deliver care in psych-safe treatment rooms
