Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Overview :
We are seeking a committed Special Education Teacher to support K12 students by providing individualized instruction and specialized services. This role is essential in helping students achieve academic and developmental goals while collaborating closely with a dedicated and supportive school-based team.
Key Responsibilities :
Provide specialized instruction and support for K12 students with diverse learning needs.
Develop, write, and implement IEPs in alignment with student goals.
Conduct assessments, progress monitoring, and data collection.
Collaborate with general education teachers, service providers, and families.
Participate in IEP meetings and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines.
Adapt instruction and materials to meet varying student needs across multiple grade levels.
Requirements :
Bachelors or Masters degree in Special Education or related field.
Active Michigan Special Education Teacher license (MI SPED).
Experience working with K12 students preferred.
Strong understanding of IEP development and special education compliance.
