Travel Nurse RN - Med / Surg / Telemetry - $2,300 per week in Belleville, IL

Job Title : Registered Nurse Profession : Nursing Specialty : Medical-Surgical / Telemetry Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 12 hours Experience : Minimum 2 years required License : Valid state license required Certifications : BCLS Must-Have : Experience in medical-surgical patients with post-surgical care required. Experience in orthopedic and neuro surgeries required. Must be proficient with EPIC charting system. Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs. Every other weekend availability required. Description : This position involves providing care for medical-surgical patients. The nurse will be responsible for assessing patients, planning care, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes. Patient population includes adults and geriatrics with various nursing needs. Typical patients may have conditions such as diabetes, COPD, renal issues, infectious diseases, and post-surgical complications. Experience with orthopedic total joint replacements and fractures is essential. Experience with post-operative neurosurgery care is required. Staffing ratios will be maintained at 1 : 5-6 patients per nurse. Orientation and training will be provided to ensure readiness for the role.
