Cost Analyst Opportunity

We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Cost Analyst to join the Walbridge team. In this role you will manage a portfolio of medium-to-large construction projects and function as a liaison with the Cost Control and the project leadership team. You'll provide insights into project costs and help identify and proactively provide solutions to project issues. This role will require you to manage the maintenance of various budgeting, change order, cost tracking / analysis / reporting and invoicing processes.

Responsibilities

Your Key Responsibilities

• Estimating Collaboration : Work with Estimating to fully understand the As-Sold Estimate along with preparing the baseline project cash flow.
• Cost Impact Analysis : Review and analyze cost impacts associated with contract claims, incentives, and penalties as well as assessing the financial implications of project scope changes and delays, providing recommendations for budget adjustments.
• Budget Realignment : Make recommendations for realigning project budgets and contingencies based on project scope changes, actual costs, and estimates to complete.
• Presentations : Prepare, coordinate, and deliver project budget and cost presentations to internal management and to the client, as required.
