This position can be performed remotely only for candidates who reside in Mississippi, Tennessee, Alabama, or Georgia. Candidates that exceed the minimum qualifications may be considered for a level II.

Essential Functions :

• Completes underwriting trainings and learning courses
• Shadows experienced underwriters to learn risk appetite and gain experience in developing agency relationships
• Under close supervision, evaluates basic accounts for risk selection and pricing purposes
• Analyzes information to underwrite policies
• Communicates with agents and provides updates on accounts
• Collaborates with marketing representatives to learn about providing agents with good customer experiences

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities :

The hiring salary range for this position will vary based on geographic location, falling within either of the following : $50,073 - $68,995 or $55,191 - $76,061. A hiring range represents a subset of the full salary range. The actual salary will depend on several factors, including relevant education, skills, and experience of an applicant, geographic location, and business needs.
