Healthcare Authorization Representative

A company is looking for a Patient Access Services Authorization Representative.

Key Responsibilities

Obtain and complete insurance authorization requests for scheduled exams

Verify insurance eligibility / benefits and provide necessary documentation for approvals

Maintain records of all referral activity and authorizations in appropriate systems

Required Qualifications

High school diploma / GED is required

Minimum of three years of experience in healthcare insurance and / or authorizations

Basic knowledge of CPT and ICD codes

Reliable internet connection (Ethernet only) and a quiet work area

Experience with common office software, including word processing and spreadsheets
