Job descriptionPrepare the operating room, ensuring a sterile environment and the readiness of all necessary materials and supplies for surgical procedures. Assist surgeons by providing instruments, maintaining a sterile field, and anticipating their needs during surgery. Support patient transport and proper positioning while utilizing safe lifting techniques. Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring all items are in working order and sterile. Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 6 months of hire. No prior experience is required; enthusiasm and a willingness to learn are highly valued. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and push / pull with up to 30 lbs of force. Capable of standing, walking, and performing repetitive movements throughout the shift. Must be able to work in a high-stress environment and wear required personal protective equipment.
