Payroll Specialist – Galloway, NJ

Location : Galloway, NJ

Full-Time | Monday – Friday

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join a growing construction company managing payroll for multiple companies. This is a hands-on role responsible for processing in-house payroll for union and non-union employees across multiple states.

Key Responsibilities

Manage all payroll functions including processing, taxes, union reports, W2s, and year-end filings

Perform monthly bank reconciliations for multiple companies using QuickBooks and Computerease

Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash receipts, and payroll transactions

Ensure accurate and timely reporting and compliance

Maintain meticulous attention to detail in all payroll and accounting activities

Qualifications

3–5 years of payroll experience (construction payroll preferred)

Proficiency with : QuickBooks

Excel, Microsoft Word

Iremit and CashPro (a plus)

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
