California Licensed Architect

This firm specializes in healthcare architecture and is rapidly expanding with large-scale medical and lab projects now reaching up to $25M+. Qualifications and responsibilities for this California Licensed Architect position include :

• 5–10 years of architectural experience, with a strong focus on healthcare projects
• Must be a licensed California architect or in progress toward licensure (actively testing acceptable)
• Proficiency in both AutoCAD and Revit is required (firm is migrating to Revit)
• Ability to jump into projects and understand the language and nuances of healthcare design
• Experience working with OSHPD / HCAI requirements is highly desirable
• Comfortable working 90% remotely; must be able to commute to the office at least twice every two weeks
• Must be local to San Diego or willing to relocate with prior California project experience
• Will contribute to highly detailed design work for hospitals, labs, and medical office buildings

Salary : $80,000 - $140,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Strong performance may result in rapid salary increases and long-term partnership opportunities.

Benefits : This full-time, permanent, direct-hire position offers great benefits including 50% employer-paid health, dental, and vision insurance, 9 paid holidays, 80 hours of vacation (accrued after six months), 48 hours of sick time (starts immediately), and an IRA with 3% company match. Health benefits begin after 60 days of employment.
