Position Summary :
The Director of Sustainability and Recycling, reporting into the Procurement organization, is responsible for driving the strategic direction of Nestle's sustainable sourcing and recycling programs. This includes overseeing climate / regenerative agriculture, human rights, animal welfare, and recycling / circularity sourcing strategies. The Leader will manage a team of professionals and collaborate with Procurement Business Partners, cross-functional leads, external stakeholders, and upstream suppliers to deliver solutions for business and environmental and social governance (ESG) commitments in packaging sustainability and recycling. Key responsibilities include leadership, coaching, communication, strategy development and execution, and compliance management.
This position will work a hybrid schedule - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home. Candidates must currently be located in the Greater Cleveland (Solon) or Arlington area or be willing to relocate.
