Job descriptionConsults with patients to determine the appropriate course of treatment Recommends and orders tests to determine extent of illness or help diagnose condition Monitors lab results, medication adherence and medication toxicities Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccinations, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury Explain and discuss procedures, test results, or prescribed treatment with the patient Refers patients to medical specialists when necessary Represents the practice at Hospital committees in such a manner that the burden of attending the meetings is reasonably distributed among all of the physicians in the group Collaborate and manage APPs MD or DO degree Board-certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Licensed to practice medicine in the state of California Proven experience in a primary care setting Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Demonstrates the True North values : The True North values are a set of value-based behaviors that are to be consistently demonstrated and role-modeled by all employees at NorthBay Health. Annual Compensation Range : FM $330,000 and IM $350,000 - W2 employee model (compensation based on 1.0 FTE, full time) Signing Bonus : up to $30,000 Retention Bonus (beginning at the completion of the 2 Relocation bonus : up to $15,000 (based on location) Residency Stipend : up to $2,000 a month APP Supervision after 2 Comprehensive Benefit Options, including Medical, Dental, Vision, Prescriptions. Retirement Savings - 401k with a company match CME allowance up to $5K Association dues and subscriptions allowance up to $3K 100% reimbursement for Medical License, DEA, Hospital dues Vacation / PTO / Sick Time : 5 weeks per year Holidays : Eligible for company observed legal holidays Professional Liability insurance Emphasis on positive work-life balance Opportunity to work within energized, collaborative clinical teams Leadership engagement and support
