Lifeguard (Adjunct)

Lifeguard Position

Lifeguards may work in either the indoor pool or outdoor pool (or both) depending on the time of year.

Duties / Responsibilities

• Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility
• Act immediately and appropriately in an emergency.
• Provides emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of EMS.
• Always presents professional appearance and attitude and maintains a high standard of customer service.
• Provide for the health and safety of participants, including ensuring that all teaching and practice areas are free of hazards and materials and equipment are safe.
