Quality Assurance Manager

Location : Gateway Cities / Southeast Los Angeles County, California

Salary : $120K – $150K

About the Role

We’re hiring a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee quality activities across U.S. operations. This role works with an established quality system and collaborates closely with Korean headquarters and U.S.-based suppliers. Ideal for someone with a strong background in manufacturing QA—especially in rail, automotive, or heavy industry.

Key Responsibilities

Quality System Management

  • Maintain ISO 9001-aligned Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Coordinate documentation, revisions, and audit prep with U.S. and Korean teams
  • Support ISO certification efforts

Supplier & Final Assembly Oversight

  • Monitor quality compliance with suppliers and contractors
  • Support audits, reviews, and assessments
  • Ensure alignment between HQ and U.S. supplier expectations
  • Production Quality

  • Oversee QA during vehicle assembly and integration
  • Coordinate with Korean QA teams to ensure quality of shipped components
  • Issue Resolution & Improvement

  • Investigate non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis
  • Support corrective / preventive actions and quality improvement initiatives
  • Cross-Cultural Collaboration

  • Maintain communication with Korean colleagues on standards and reporting
  • Coordinate with U.S. QA, Korean engineering / QC, and third-party teams
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Quality, or a related field
  • 5+ years in QA or QC in manufacturing (rail, auto, or industrial preferred)
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 and QA / QC systems
  • Supplier quality or contractor oversight experience a plus
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Korean language skills or experience working with Korean teams is a plus
  • CQE, CQM, or similar certifications preferred but not required
