PRN Registered Nurse - Cardiology Catheterization

Summary :

The Registered Nurse is a critical team member in delivering both routine and complex patient care. This role requires independent practice while being aware of all relevant clinical situations. You will work on long-range goals and be prepared to manage varying clinical scenarios effectively. Your responsibilities will also include delegating tasks to enhance patient care within your team.

Key Responsibilities :

• Demonstrate proficiency in the OneCHRISTUS Competencies : Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care based on the nursing process – assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
• Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
• Administer medications and treatments according to protocols, monitoring for side effects and treatment efficacy.
• Maintain thorough documentation of patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided.
• Assess patient and family learning needs and deliver effective educational resources.
