What You'll Do : Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and staff by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following Allied Universal protocols. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the residential community and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or disturbances. Document and report security-related incidents, maintenance issues, and / or unusual activities to the appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal management. Assist with emergency response activities as directed, including communicating with local authorities when necessary. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter unwanted behavior and provide reassurance to residents and guests. Minimum Requirements : Being at least 21 years of age is preferred. Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Possessing a state, county, or city issued security license is preferred. Being able to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
