About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

License : Valid State License preferred

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC

Must-Have :

EPIC and Trauma Experience

1 year of recent travel experience required

Description :

Responsible for assessing patient needs.

Plans and coordinates interventions and consultations.

Provides procedures and treatments in the Emergency Department, including but not limited to moderate and deep sedation, ultrasound, intubation, cardioversion, and cardiopulmonary resuscitation.

Patient population includes trauma, acute stroke, STEMI, psychosis, psychological emergencies, and sepsis.

Patients frequently present with alcohol or drug abuse history or complex medical history.

Ratio of patients to nurses is 1 : 3-4.

Must be available for weekend shifts.

Candidates will float within the hospital.

Requires certifications for advanced life support and pediatric life support.

Preferred experience in a Level I Trauma Center.

Skills required include management of dysrhythmias, drug overdose, and interpretation of arterial blood gases.

Familiarity with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
