We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner / Physicians Assistant to join our busy multi-practitioner Internal Medicine Practice, located in Merritt Island Florida. This position is Monday - Friday, NO WEEKENDS, NO NIGHTS, NO CALL, NO HOLIDAYS , providing an amazing work-life balance.
Responsibilities :
- Performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests (labs, imaging, etc.).
- Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic and chronic conditions.
- Prescribing medications and creating treatment plans.
- Collaborating with physicians, other medical personnel, and office staff.
- Educating patients and families on health conditions and preventive care.
- Documenting patient care accurately and efficiently.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.
