Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Engineering Test Technician to join our dynamic team in a hands-on product testing and validation role. This position supports engineering and product development teams by executing testing protocols, troubleshooting equipment, and documenting results for both prototype and production-level electronic components. The ideal candidate will be highly collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working with electrical and mechanical systems in a lab environment.

Schedule : Monday to Friday, 8 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM (Overtime may be required)

Work Environment : Light industrial. Metatarsal boots required on Day 1.

Pre-employment : Drug screening required

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute intermediate-level validation testing on new and existing products in support of engineering efforts
  • Interpret and apply testing procedures and protocols provided by engineering
  • Troubleshoot and maintain lab equipment to ensure operational readiness
  • Build test harnesses, loads, and circuit boards for validation and verification tasks
  • Assemble mechanical and electrical test fixtures and setups as needed
  • Perform failure analysis and functional testing on PCBs and electronic circuits
  • Document test results accurately and maintain detailed records of all work performed
  • Collaborate with engineering to identify and resolve process or product-related issues
  • Provide feedback and suggest improvements to engineering documentation and test procedures
  • Create testing documentation when engineering instructions are incomplete or unavailable
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members
  • Perform additional duties as assigned in support of lab operations

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with electrical / electronic testing, troubleshooting, and fixture setup
  • Working knowledge of circuits, PCBs, and basic mechanical assembly
  • Familiarity with lab tools and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, etc.)
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions precisely
  • Technical degree or equivalent work experience preferred
