Medicus is seeking a locum Breast Imager for a hospital-based Breast Center in Western Oregon. The role includes a structured Monday to Friday schedule, focusing solely on breast imaging and supported by a skilled team. Medicus has an opportunity available for a locum Breast Imager at a hospital-based Breast Center in Western Oregon. This locum opening offers a structured schedule and a supportive environment dedicated to patient care.

Position Details :

  • Schedule : 8 AM - 5 PM, Monday to Friday.
  • Trauma Level : 4 (No ER volume).
  • Patient Demographic : Adult patients.
  • Focus : Dedicated Breast Imaging role-no general radiology duties.
  • Facilities :

Location 1 : 1 mammography room, 2 ultrasound rooms.

  • Imaging Center : 1 mammography room, 1 ultrasound room (only screening exams performed).
  • Team :

    • 250 radiologists in the practice, with the Breast Imager serving as the on-site physician.

  • Support staff includes 2 daytime ultrasound techs, 1 mammography tech, and 1 breast navigator.
  • Role Support : Breast navigator assists in stereotactic and ultrasound-guided breast biopsies and coordinates follow-up care for mammography patients.
  • Technology : Powerscribe dictation into EPIC with EPIC Mammography reporting.
  • Must be board-certified
  • Paid travel & expenses
