Job Summary
The Maricopa Community Colleges Enterprise Performance Office has an opportunity for a Project Manager Senior !
This opportunity leads high-level and impactful projects through all phases of initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out. Responsibilities include managing project timelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, maintaining project documentation, and delivering clear reports and presentations. This role is key in driving strategic outcomes and supporting enterprise-wide success for Maricopa Community Colleges.
Essential Functions
45% - Leads, coordinates, and / or provides support to complex, oftentimes system-wide, politically sensitive projects :
25% - Monitors, tracks, and reports on project deliverables :
15% - Utilizes change management techniques to ensure successful adoption of project outcomes and / or other system-wide initiatives :
10% - Develops and monitors project budgets and related expenditures
5% - Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution and four (4) years of project management coordination and experience.
An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered.
Desired Qualifications
1. Current project management certification (PMP, CAPM, etc.)
2. Three years of experience working in higher education, preferably within a community college system
3. Three years of experience writing content for professional communications (official emails, reports, presentations, website content, etc.)
4. Three years of experience leading complex projects with large stakeholder groups
5. Three years of experience utilizing change management techniques within projects
