Lab Technician Contractor

Location : Torrance, CA (100% onsite)

Duration : 6-Month Contract

Pay : $22-26 / hr

Schedule : Standard Working Hours

Job Description

Responsibilities :

Support the technician team to fabricate or modify existing test fixtures.
Provide electrical and mechanical support for prototype builds.
Maintain test equipment in operational condition by performing routine maintenance and making minor repairs / adjustments as needed.
Maintain a clean and organized environment for the Test and Validation lab by strictly adhering to all established safety protocols.

Qualifications :

0-2 years of technician work experience in a product development environment (electrical test lab preferred).

Strong mechanical ability and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Strong organizational and clerical skills.

Operation of pallet jack and / or forklift preferred.

Comfortable using hand tools and power tools.

Basic electrical and mechanical repair preferred.

Basic fabrication experience preferred.
