    • Your Role :

    As a Medical Assistant, you will provide essential care to patients under general supervision while following AdventHealth service standards. Your responsibilities will include greeting patients, obtaining clinical information, managing financial and demographic data, and assisting healthcare providers during examinations and treatments. You will also carry out office duties, such as verifying insurance, collecting co-pays, and scheduling appointments.

    What You Will Bring :

  • Assist with screenings as per physician orders and accurately enter all information at the time of service or results
  • Perform clinical intake according to AdventHealth policies
  • Help with minor procedures within your specialty as required
  • Be prepared to travel, if needed, for staffing needs
  • Maintain required education and demonstrate competency for your position

    • Qualifications :

    To succeed in this role, you will need :

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
  • Certification from one of the following : American Medical Certification Association (AMCA), American Medical Technologists (AMT), National Center for Competency Testing-Medical Assistant (NCMA), National Healthcareer Association (NHA), National Association for Healthcare Professionals-Medical Assistant (NRCMA), or the American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
