Principal Learning Consultant
Alpha is transforming the student experience with adaptive technology and AI‑driven learning. As a Principal Learning Consultant, you will ensure our "3 Promises" are delivered to every student in your cohort, develop Guides, and coach high‑performing teams.
Compensation & Location
Hourly rate : $100.00 per hour. Equivalent annual salary : $200,000.00 based on 40 hours per week. Payment is made weekly.
Locations (on‑site) : Bethesda, MD; Boston, MA; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; Seattle, WA; San Francisco (East Bay), Palo Alto, Santa Monica, Los Angeles. Candidates must be located in or willing to relocate to one of these campuses.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, train, and coach Guides to deliver Alpha’s workshops with world‑class execution.
Author Guide Playbooks outlining best practices for facilitation and high‑impact learning activities.
Provide consistent, actionable feedback to Guides to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
Directly coach a small student cohort, applying expert mentorship and motivational techniques.
Uphold Alpha’s mastery standard of 100% and maintain high expectations among Guides.
Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and metric‑driven decisions.
What You Won’t Be Doing
Creating lesson plans—Guides use adaptive apps; you focus on training them.
Compromising expectations to lower performance standards.
Leading dull training sessions—engagement is essential.
Qualifications
Located in or willing to relocate to one of Alpha’s campuses.
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in education, learning & development, coaching, or a related field.
Proven track record designing and executing innovative educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives.
Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities, with the ability to inspire high‑performing teams.
Experience working directly with youth (ages 5‑18).
Proficiency in analyzing data and leveraging metrics for continuous improvement.
Legally authorized to work in the United States.

Employment Details
Full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. Requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. Position is immediately available.
