Position Description :
We are seeking an experienced Software Architect / Engineer / Developer to support various Momentum® initiatives. You’ll be joining the National Security and Justice (NSJ) business unit (BU) that supports the mission of U.S. security and law enforcement. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining Momentum applications and modules, integrating Momentum with other systems, and deploying solutions that meet the needs of our client.
Your future duties and responsibilities :
Application Development : Develop and maintain new and existing applications. Whether troubleshooting a software defect, enhancing an existing application or developing a new solution, you should be able to dig into frameworks and libraries to deliver coherent solutions in line with the overall architecture of the application landscape.
As a member of a high-performing multi-site agile team, you must be self-motivated with a strong work ethic, time-management, and interpersonal skills. Effective communication skills are a must.
Core working hours are 9am-5pm EST.
Hybrid in-office / remote position with some travel as needed (e.g., for badging / renewals).
Required qualifications to be successful in this role :
An agency clearance is required to begin working with our client, and the clearance must be maintained throughout the project duration. Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and / or clearance requirements, US citizenship is required.
Basic Qualifications :
Knowledge of Momentum Financials / Acquisitions
6+ years of relevant experience
Academic background in computer science, computer engineering or a similar major with extensive computer-based or technical content
Experience with Java, C++, Visual Studio to
Ability to bring projects to completion in a timely manner
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
Ability to learn and understand the nature of business
Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
Desired qualifications / non-essential skills required :
HTML, Javascript, JQuery, Bootstrap
JIRA experience
ERP software experience
Familiarity with SOAP / REST
Oracle SQL
