About the Role : The Inspector will be responsible for handling service requests across various locations within a designated territory. This role involves inspecting and testing fire alarm systems to ensure they are functioning correctly and comply with NFPA standards. The Inspector will also adjust or repair any malfunctioning systems and perform basic inspections of suppression systems and fire extinguishers.
Responsibilities :
- Schedule and conduct inspections for fire alarms, fire suppression systems, and fire extinguishers.
- Perform tests and evaluations on fire alarm and suppression systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Coordinate with local fire departments to prevent unnecessary responses during testing.
- Follow company safety protocols and procedures at all times.
- Prepare and complete NFPA testing documentation for clients.
- Repair systems as needed or notify the Service Department of any customer requirements.
- Communicate test and inspection results to customers.
- Undertake additional tasks as assigned.
