Job description

We are looking for a dedicated Infectious Disease Physician to join our team at MercyOne Waterloo.

Key Responsibilities :

Diagnose and manage a wide range of infectious diseases, including HIV / AIDS, tuberculosis, hepatitis, and travel-related illnesses.
Provide inpatient consultations for complex medical conditions and post-surgical complications.
Collaborate with primary care providers to develop integrated care plans.
Offer expert care in the wound clinic and participate in hospital rounds.
Deliver travel medicine services, including vaccinations and preventive counseling.

Benefits :

Competitive salary guarantee of $280K–$290K for two years, with production incentives.

$20K commencement bonus and $15K relocation allowance.

Comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, and malpractice coverage.

$5,000 / year CME allowance and retirement plans.

Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
