Credentialing Specialist

Busy New York hospital is seeking a Credentialing Specialist to join their team. Responsibilities include : Facilitate all aspects of provider credentialing, including initial appointments, reappointments, credential audits, and clinical privileging for Medical Staff, Allied Health Professionals, and other providers. Utilize MDStaff credentialing software to perform and monitor background checks while ensuring data accuracy and integrity. Ensure compliance with accrediting and regulatory agencies and maintain knowledge of laws and statutes related to credentialing. Additional Information : This is an on-site position; remote work is not available. Please note that the salary range and / or hourly rate range of $18.00 - $23.00 is a good faith determination of potential base compensation offered to applicants at the time of this job advertisement and may be subject to modification in the future.
