About the Role

The Company is in search of an Executive Director of Licensing to spearhead the growth of its IP licensing business. This senior leadership role is pivotal in maximizing patent royalty revenue, shaping licensing strategy, and enhancing operational excellence across global wireless technology markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading end-to-end licensing negotiations, identifying and pursuing target licensees, and developing strategic licensing frameworks. They will also be tasked with structuring and reviewing licensing agreements, delivering executive-level presentations, and representing the company at industry events. The role demands a candidate with a J.D. from an accredited law school or equivalent advanced legal or business qualification, extensive experience in patent licensing, and a strong understanding of standard-essential patent (SEP) licensing, particularly in wireless and telecommunications markets. The ideal candidate for the Executive Director of Licensing position at the company will be a commercially astute, legally trained leader with a proven track record in complex IP transactions. Key capabilities include exceptional negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills, as well as a strong leadership presence and the ability to influence at the highest levels. The role requires a candidate with an entrepreneurial mindset, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and the ability to mentor multidisciplinary teams.
