ADABAS Database Specialist

A company is looking for an ADABAS / DB2 Database Specialist to provide expert-level technical support in a remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, install, configure, and implement SAG ADABAS software products in an enterprise z / OS mainframe environment

Monitor, analyze, and tune ADABAS database performance, ensuring compliance with audits and regulatory requirements

Support migrations or conversions of SAG software to other platforms and automate ADABAS startup / shutdown processes

Qualifications

Recent hands-on experience with ADABAS Cluster Services in IBM z / OS Parallel Sysplex environments

Proficiency with SAG products such as PREDICT, REVIEW DB, and Natural Security

Experience developing and implementing disaster recovery procedures for ADABAS environments

Strong background in maintaining z / OS operating systems and IBM CICS parameters for optimal performance

Must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance
