Warehouse Lead
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Number 2 professional to oversee and support all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, packaging, distribution, and maintenance. This role combines elements of warehouse management, supervision, and assistant management to ensure the warehouse operates smoothly, material ships accurately, and service levels continually improve with an emphasis on safety, efficiency, and growth. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong leadership skills, and is capable of both hands-on work and strategic oversight.
Reports to : Warehouse Manager, Operations Manager
Minimum Qualifications :
- 2+ years of warehouse experience (supervision or management preferred)
- Proven ability to lead and manage warehouse staff effectively
- Strong knowledge of warehouse procedures, KPIs, and best practices
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, wire-measuring equipment)
- Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs and performing physical tasks (bending, squatting, climbing ladders, etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft-based systems and basic math skills
- Strong decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications :

Essential Job Functions :
Manage, supervise, and support warehouse employees to ensure peak efficiency and productivityOversee receiving, warehousing, inventory control, distribution, and maintenance operationsStrategically plan, implement, and enforce operational policies and proceduresCoordinate with clients, suppliers, sales teams, and transport companies to meet delivery deadlinesPlan delivery routing, read maps, and ensure accurate and timely order fulfillmentPull, check, and process orders for accuracy to ensure customer satisfactionMaintain standards of health, safety, hygiene, and securityEnsure proper use, maintenance, and cleaning of warehouse equipment, vehicles, and facility groundsTrack and facilitate vendor price checking, rebates, and quotationsOccasionally make deliveries on 26' trucks, including loading and unloading materialsAbility to piece together a standard solar system to identify missing requirements (e.g., recognizing the need for fuses when a fused disconnect is present)Demonstrate the ability and confidence to make decisions independently without deferring to the Warehouse ManagerRecruit, select, orient, coach, and appraise employeesProduce and review reports, statistics, and KPIs regularlyUphold company values while promoting continuous improvement and team collaborationNOTE : Because positions may evolve due to the needs of the business, this job description may not list all essential functions and is not designed to contain a comprehensive listing of all required activities, duties, or responsibilities. Compensation Range : The compensation range for this position is $20 to $26 hourly.
