Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Emergency Room

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse

Start Date : January 26, 2026

End Date : April 27, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 30am)

Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week

Weekend / Holiday Coverage : Every 3rd weekend (may vary); holidays rotate with permanent staff

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990–$2130

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license in New Hampshire or compact state (Registered Nurse licensure required)

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS required; ENPC and TNCC preferred

Strong IV skills and ability to read and interpret EKGs

Flexibility to float within the healthcare facility as needed

Excellent teamwork and communication skills

ER RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to a diverse emergency room patient population in a 7-bed unit, including 1 trauma room

Perform lab draws and medication mixing as required

Operate and monitor Newport HT70 ventilators and Mindray monitors

Collaborate with ER physicians, hospitalists, and other healthcare professionals

Document patient care using T-system and CPSI EMR systems

Respond to psychiatric and exclusion room needs, following safety protocols

Adapt to changing schedules and patient needs in a supportive, team-based environment

Complete one onboarding shift with a preceptor
