Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time Special Education Teacher with a focus on Autism is needed at a K-8 school within the Denver area. This contract position runs from January 7, 2026, through May 21, 2026, requiring on-site presence with no virtual or hybrid work options. The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 12 students and collaborating closely with paraprofessionals in the classroom to provide tailored educational support.

Responsibilities include :

• Delivering specialized instruction aligned with individualized education plans (IEPs) for students on the autism spectrum.
• Managing and coordinating paraprofessional staff to support student learning.
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
• Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching strategies as needed.
• Collaborating with school staff and families to promote student development.

Required qualifications :

This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, totaling 37.5 hours per week at a single school setting.
