Adventist Health Sonora is seeking an Interventional Cardiologis t to join our cardiology team in building a program in a community with a great need

• Join an established non-interventional cardiologist and two nurse practitioners
• Brand new state of the art Cath-lab and Interventional Cardiology program
• Opportunity to help grow interventional cardiology program

Responsibilities :

Intra-arterial lines insertion and management

Percutaneous coronary intervention, cardiac catheterization and angiography

Pericardiocentesis

Echocardiography Interpretation

Temporary trans venous pacemaker placement

Stress test interpretation

Central venous line insertion and management

Interpret EKGs

Debulking devices including CSI atherectomy, rotablator, laser Angiojet for intervention for cardiovascular diseases

Interpret holter monitors

Incumbent will be expected to practice in accordance with professional standards, core values, and with a commitment to service excellence

Peripheral arterial interventions

Arterial puncture

Requirements :

Experience preferred, but not required

At least Level 2 training in nuclear cardiology, echocardiography & preferably

Level 3 training in cardiac catherization and intervention, peripheral

interventional training is preferred but not required

Additional training in cardiac MRI / CT a plus

Candidate must be BC / BE, be California licensed or eligible and meet the hospitals medical staff credentialing standards.

Wage Scale : $540,000 - $794,248 / year
