Westwood Professional Services, Inc. is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Land Development team in our Christiansburg, VA office. Westwood has a highly experienced and dynamic team of individuals dedicated to providing high-level professional services to our clients.

As an Engineering Technician you would be responsible for using standard drafting practices and procedures, with a strong attention to detail, to assist with tasks related to a variety of engineering and construction projects. The Engineering Technician will modify and create design plans and drawings using computer aided design (CAD) programs under the direction of a designer or engineer.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and modify CAD drawings
• Apply Westwood Company CAD standard, practices, and procedures in creating and modifying CAD drawings
• Collaborate in a team environment
• Coordinate filing, storage, and retrieval of drawings and documents
• Work with extreme precision and accuracy in creating design drawings
• Plot and check drawings
• Willing to take on other duties as assigned
