Nights : 6 : 45 PM – 6 : 15 AM

Position Overview :

The L&D Registered Nurse provides comprehensive care to mothers and newborns through labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum stages. The RN monitors fetal heart activity, manages complications, and ensures safe, compassionate, and evidence-based care for patients and their families.

Patient Ratio :

1 : 3 to 1 : 4; typically 1–2 labor patients until active labor

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experience required

Active RN Licensure required

Certifications : BLS, ACLS (AHA or ARC), NRP, AWHONN Certification in Fetal Heart Monitoring required

Scope : Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Newborn care

EMR : CPN, MedHost
