Expediter

Logistics / Production Coordinator

The Expediter will play a critical role in ensuring smooth workflow across the shop floor. This position is responsible for coordinating materials, monitoring production schedules, and ensuring timely delivery of parts and assemblies. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate production schedules to ensure timely completion of jobs.
• Monitor material flow and expedite parts through various stages of machining and assembly.
• Communicate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve delays or shortages.
• Review and interpret blueprints / drawings to verify accuracy and compliance with specifications.
• Ensure adherence to ISO standards and company quality requirements.
• Update and maintain records in shop management systems (E2 experience preferred).
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to optimize efficiency and reduce lead times.

Work Environment :

Job Type & Location :

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tacoma, WA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
