We are looking for dedicated and positive individuals passionate about health and wellness to join our team! Job SummaryThe BODYBAR Instructor is directly supervised by our Lead Instructor. The successful candidate possesses a friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills. As a member of the BODYBAR team, this person will have a passion fitness and for serving others and will ensure a positive fitness experience for all BODYBAR members. We are hiring for McKinney, but also opening our Allen location later this year. This is a great opportunity to work at a studio with multiple locations and opportunity for advancement. Responsibilities Cultivate and demonstrate an in-depth knowledge of BODYBAR's method, mission, vision, and goalsCreate community at the studio through engagement with members before, during, and after classDesign and instruct Pilates-based group fitness classes, according to the BODYBAR teaching formula, that are safe and effective for all fitness levelsEducate participants on proper and safe exercise formRespond to client questions regarding special movement considerations, studio policies, and promotionsInstructors are responsible for securing subs for all their classes when needed. QualificationsA passion for health, fitness, and exerciseStrong communication skillsKnowledge of basic anatomyPrior Pilates Instruction highly preferred Complete the Comprehensive (or Bridge) BODYBAR Pilates Instructor Training Program, including passing each apparatus test-outPreference will be given to those with existing Pilates certification, but it is not required. Hourly pay range is based on qualified, experienced applicants.
