Job descriptionBachelor's Degree. 5+ years of experience with firewalls in AWS. 5+ years of experience with firewalls in Azure. 5+ years of experience with Palo Alto firewalls. Candidates local to South Carolina are required. Candidates local to Georgia or North Carolina will be considered if they are willing to relocate to South Carolina at their own expense. Hybrid work model : 2 days in office, 3 days remote. Candidates previously submitted to requisition 7354 or 7702 will not be considered. 40 hours per week. Standard business hours.
Job Summary :
The State of South Carolina is seeking a Network Engineer to serve as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer. This is a hybrid role requiring two days of on-site work in Columbia, South Carolina, with the remaining three days remote. The initial contract is for 12 months with a possibility of extension.

Responsibilities :
- Manage and maintain network security infrastructure.
- Implement and configure firewalls in AWS and Azure environments.
- Work with Palo Alto firewalls.
- Other duties as assigned.
