Location : Southeastern / South Central

Schedule : Part-Time (3 days per week)

Salary : $90,000.00 - $120,000.00

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
• Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
• Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
• Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures
• Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence
• Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families
• Medication Management : NPs / PAs ensure residents receive the appropriate medications, monitor for side effects, and adjust dosages as needed. Chronic Disease Management : They provide ongoing care for residents with chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and dementia, helping to manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
• Wound Care : NPs / PAs are skilled in wound assessment and treatment, promoting healing and preventing complications.
• Fall Prevention : They identify residents at risk for falls and implement strategies to reduce fall incidents.
• Knowledge of CMS Regulations and NCQA HEDIS Guidelines
• Document accurate medical records to ensure compliance with OSHA and
• Government regulations and perform duties in accordance with site quality and
• safety systems
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• Analyze and organize the care of critically complex patients
