Senior Accountant

Senior Fintech Accountant - First Century Bank N.A.

What you will do :

• Lead the full lifecycle of Fintech programs from onboarding new Fintech programs through ongoing support for existing Fintech programs and understanding each programs structure.
• Create accounting processes and procedures for each new program including funds flow documentation reconciliation and reporting for each program.
• Perform daily high-volume reconciliations related to prepaid card transactions payment processing and Fintech activity. Prepare and post daily and monthly journal entries including those provided by other accounting team members ensuring accuracy and alignment with GAAP standards.
• Develop a deep understanding of the financial structure systems of record and operational workflows for each new Fintech program and associated processor. Analyze transaction-level data collected across multiple platforms to identify anomalies inconsistencies or exceptions escalate findings and assist in resolving issues.
• Share knowledge across internal accounting staff on the processes specific to new and existing Fintech programs ensuring accuracy and consistency across teams.
