Job Description
The Case Manager Supervisor plays a pivotal role in coordinating patient care by reviewing, triaging, and assigning patients to case managers. This individual is responsible for ensuring quality and cost-effective care for the identified patient population while supervising staff in the department.
Key responsibilities include developing an efficient organizational structure, supervising employees, and promoting teamwork and growth initiatives. The Case Manager Supervisor must also collaborate with other departments and services to facilitate quality care, act as a resource on complex patient care activities, and develop standards of performance.
In addition, this role involves overseeing case loads and staff hours, organizing case coverage during absence of staff, and performing various administrative functions such as monitoring expenditures and preparing reports.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, be able to communicate effectively with individuals and groups, and demonstrate a proactive approach to patient safety. A Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline is essential, with a Master's Degree preferred. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years of directly related experience and be certified as a Registered Nurse in New Mexico or have equivalent certification by reciprocal agreement.

Working Conditions
