About The Position

Weekly Pay $51.67 / hour - OT at UC Davis Health Rehabilitation Hospital

• Position : Occupational Therapist (OT) Therapy Services
• Facility : UC Davis Rehabilitation Hospital (52-bed inpatient acute rehab facility)
• Department / Cost Center : Therapy Services
• Shift : Days
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours : None (no minimum hours or guarantees)
• Weekend Hours : Open (may be required)
• Call Requirements : None
• Number of Openings : 5
• Required Certification : California OT License
• Required Experience : Minimum 2 years in Acute Rehab or Acute Care
• Float Requirements : None
• Patient Population : Adults with conditions such as stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury (TBI, SCI, Ortho Trauma)
• Patient Load : 4-5 patients per day; 6 hours of treatment time daily
• EHR System : Cerner
• Supervisor : Caroline Owen
• Work Environment : State-of-the-art, patient-focused, and specialized rehab hospital
• Primary Responsibilities :
• Deliver intensive, individualized rehabilitation services
• Maximize health, function, and quality of life for patients
• Provide ongoing, specialized treatment throughout recovery
• Preferred Skills / Experience : Acute Rehab or Acute Care background
• First Day Instructions :
• Report at 8 : 00 AM
• No scrub color requirement
• Ask for Caroline Owen upon arrival
• Free parking provided (parking placard issued)
• Compliance : Standard credentialing and compliance procedures required
• Scheduling : Flexible; can be coordinated directly with the facility once credentialed
