Job Title : Member Services Associate
Job Description :
The Member Services Associate is responsible for promoting and selling memberships for the pickleball club while providing exceptional customer service to current and potential members. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, outgoing, and have a passion for the sport of pickleball.
Key Responsibilities :
Membership Sales
- Respond to inquiries from prospective members and provide information about club activities, events, and programs
- Conduct tours of the facility and explain membership options and benefits
- Process membership applications, payments, and renewals
- Collaborate with marketing team to develop and distribute promotional materials and social media content
- Attend community events to promote the club and recruit new members
- Collaborate with club management to plan and promote special events, tournaments, and social activities
Front Desk
Handle member concerns, complaints, and suggestions, and escalate issues as neededGreet and farewell members and guests with a friendly and welcoming demeanorManage the front desk : check members in, answer phone calls, and respond to emailsSchedule court reservations and manage court availabilityAssist with equipment rentals and retail salesKeep the front desk and social areas clean and organizedProvide information on club events, programs, and tournamentsAssist with coordinating and scheduling private lessons and clinicsResolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and professional mannerWork closely with the club management team to ensure the smooth operation of the clubOther duties as assignedAmbassador
Make sure all members have a curated experienceMake sure the courts, social area, member lounge, food & beverage area, locker room are clean and organizedAssist and help manage open play, leagues and eventsAssist and help with ball machine rental useGreet and farewell members and guests with a friendly and welcoming demeaner.This is a full-time or part-time position, with opportunities for growth and advancement within the organization. The Pickleball Club Member Service Associate will report to the Club General Manager and work closely with other staff members to provide an exceptional customer experience for members and guests. Requirements : Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required, some college coursework preferred1-2 years of sales or customer service experience, preferably in a sports or fitness environmentExcellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and database management softwareAbility to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekendsPassion for pickleball and a commitment to providing exceptional customer servicePhysical Requirements :
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 poundsMust be able to move quickly around the facility to assist members and guests
