Injection Mold Tooling Technician – Direct Hire (Green Bay, WI)

Pay : $50,000–$60,000 / year (based on experience)

Shift : Full-time, 1st Shift

Location : Green Bay, WI

About the Role

Our client, a well-established plastics manufacturer in Green Bay , is seeking an experienced Injection Mold Tooling Technician to join their team on a direct-hire basis . This is a hands-on, technical role focused on maintaining, repairing, and preparing injection molds and tooling used in production.

Key Responsibilities

Perform mold and die repairs , engineering changes , and preventive maintenance .

Clean, inspect, and stage injection molds for production.

Conduct insert changes , replace ejector pins , and perform light machining repairs.

Interpret blueprints, tooling drawings, and part prints .

Maintain accurate tooling records and communicate issues to engineering.

Operate manual tool room equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders.

Support continuous improvement and maintain a safe, organized work area .

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in tool room or mold maintenance (plastics industry required).

Tool & Die or Mold Making background highly desired.

Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints .

Experience with manual machining and mold repair equipment .

High attention to detail, quality-focused, and reliable.

Associate degree in Tool & Die or related field preferred.
