Project Engineer

Job Details Job Location : Automatic Pool Covers, Inc - Westfield, IN Position Type : Full Time Salary Range : Undisclosed Description We are seeking an experienced and driven Project Engineer to join our manufacturing team. This mid-level role requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience in the manufacturing industry with exposure to Quality, Design, and Manufacturing Engineering functions. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded engineer who can manage and execute cross-functional projects from concept through production, while collaborating with stakeholders across engineering, operations, and quality assurance. Key Responsibilities : Lead and support cross-functional engineering projects related to product development, process improvements, and cost reduction initiatives. Coordinate project timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful execution on time and within budget. Serve as a technical liaison between design, manufacturing, and quality teams. Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and standards. Identify and implement process and productivity improvements across the manufacturing floor. Support new product introduction (NPI) and design for manufacturability (DFM) efforts. Participate in quality audits and compliance activities as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. 3–5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment with exposure to Quality, Design, and Production engineering. Solid understanding of engineering fundamentals. Experience with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and ERP systems. Strong project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr
