Commodity Broker – Kansas
Responsibilities :
- Execute commodity trades on behalf of clients, focusing on grain brokerage in the Central Kansas region.
- Analyze market trends, economic indicators, and other relevant factors to provide informed recommendations to clients.
- Maintain a deep understanding of commodity markets, particularly in the agricultural sector, to facilitate effective communication with clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their risk tolerance, financial goals, and market preferences.
- Utilize the Series 3 license to adhere to regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaborate with internal teams to stay updated on market conditions, regulatory changes, and other factors impacting commodity trading.
- Provide timely and accurate trade execution while managing and mitigating risks associated with commodity trading.
- Stay informed about global and local events that could influence commodity markets and communicate potential impacts to clients.
- Generate regular reports and analyses to keep clients informed about their portfolios and market conditions.
- Actively participate in continuous professional development to stay abreast of industry trends and maintain a competitive edge.
Qualifications :
Series 3 license is a must.Proven experience as a commodity broker, with a focus on grain brokerage preferred.Strong understanding of agricultural commodity markets and trading strategies.Excellent analytical skills to interpret market data and make informed decisions.Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make quick, sound decisions.Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in trade execution and record-keeping.Knowledge of regulatory requirements and commitment to compliance.Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing market conditions.Benefits :
Competitive salary with performance-based incentives. Our salary range is open for a candidate that has a proven history of success with commodity brokerage experience.
