About STMA Schools

We are a district that serves over 6700 students and employs more than 750 employees in a northwestern suburb of Minneapolis Minnesota. Our district is comprised of one primary school for kindergarten students three elementary schools for grades 1-4 two middle schools for grades 5-8 and one high school for grades 9-12.

Position Overview & Responsibilities-Long Term Substitute

Responsible for working with students to be academically successful by assessing and remediating academic skills under the direction of certified professionals in individual or small group settings; maintain confidentiality of student and family information as required under FERPA. Start Date : February 2nd 2026 to March 27th 2026

Contract : 183 days

Schedule : Monday-Friday 8 : 00 AM -1 : 30 PM

FTE : 0.6875 (27.5 hours per week)

Salary & Benefits

Starting Rate : $20.64 per hour

Requirements & Qualifications

Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and two years of post-secondary education or successful completion of a valid and reliable formal assessment as identified by the school district or State; ability to work with staff to provide services to students in skill deficient areas.
